Due to a problem with the GameMaker forums springing up the day before the jam started, the decision was taken to delay the jam by a week. But, since some people had already planned time off work for the jam, it was decided that the theme would still be announced on the original start date and people could begin their entries early if they wanted. This makes the entire jam entry period 11 days long from May 25th to June 5th, the longest in GMC Jam history, although technically the official jam period is June 1st to June 5th and that is when the games topic will be opened for people to post their devlogs and entries.
