🛫 No New Runways

Dear Chris Skidmore,

Please use your position in parliament to argue against the expansion of Bristol Airport, Heathrow and any other attempt to increase the UK's air capacity.

Any increase in air travel is a setback in the fight against climate change, and completely incompatible with the UK's net-zero targets.

We need to encourage far fewer domestic and short haul flights, investing heavily in rail infrastructure and electric buses / coaches to make up for the shortfall.

We also need to reduce the demand for long haul business flights by encouraging companies to conduct business in a much greener way, with strong incentives to reduce flights taken by employees.

Kind regards,

Dan Johnston
